Business Continuity Statement
Our commitment to maintaining service to clients, lenders and introducers when the unexpected happens.
1. Our commitment
Funding transactions run to deadlines that rarely move. DGL Commercial Finance Ltd maintains arrangements designed to ensure that a disruption to our premises, systems or availability does not become a disruption to a client’s transaction.
This page is a public summary of our approach. The underlying plan is an internal operational document, and specific detail is intentionally withheld.
2. Cloud-based systems
Our email, documents and case records are held in established cloud services rather than on local equipment. Work is not tied to a single device or a single location, and the loss of any one machine does not put client information or case progress at risk.
3. Backups and data protection
Information held in those services is replicated and backed up by the providers as part of their standard resilience arrangements, with access controlled by strong authentication. Personal information continues to be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy throughout any incident.
4. Remote and alternative working
We are set up to work securely from any suitable location. If our usual premises become unavailable, work continues from an alternative location with no material change to the service a client receives.
5. Communications
Telephone, email and video conferencing are provided through mobile and cloud services, so clients, lenders and introducers can continue to reach us on the usual contact details. If a disruption is likely to affect a live case, we contact those involved directly and confirm how matters will proceed.
6. Incident management
The Managing Director, Darren Leigh, assesses any incident, decides what action is required, and takes responsibility for keeping clients, lenders and professional introducers informed until normal service resumes.
7. Continual review
DGL Commercial Finance Ltd continually reviews its systems and procedures to minimise disruption and maintain service to clients, lenders and professional introducers. Where a review, or the experience of an incident, identifies an improvement, we make it.
8. Annual review
Our continuity arrangements are formally reviewed at least annually, and sooner if our systems, suppliers or working arrangements change materially.
If you have a question about how we would maintain service on a particular transaction, please get in touch.
