For Professional Advisers

Your client remains your client.

I work alongside accountants, solicitors and IFAs to arrange bridging, development and commercial mortgage facilities — supporting the relationship that made the introduction possible, never displacing it.

Our commitment to advisers

Seven commitments to the introducing professional.

  1. 01

    Your client remains your client.

The introducing relationship is respected without exception. My role is to arrange the finance while supporting, never displacing, the adviser relationship.

  2. 02

I work alongside accountants, solicitors and IFAs.

The professional team around a client is treated as a team, not a queue. I bring the funding piece to the table and leave everything else to the specialists you already trust.

  3. 03

I never seek to replace existing advisers.

There is no cross-selling. Tax, legal and investment advice remain with the professionals who have earned that relationship — and I make a point of saying so.

  4. 04

Every case is carefully packaged before approaching lenders.

DGL's packaging standard is the same regardless of loan size. Submissions are complete, tested against the exit, and presented to underwriters in a form that reflects well on the introducing firm.

  5. 05

Advisers are kept informed throughout the transaction.

I write to the introducing adviser at every material stage. No adviser should learn something about their own client from the client — and with me, they don't.

  6. 06

    Communication is proactive and transparent.

I raise difficult news early, and I put fee structures in writing well before completion. There are no surprises at drawdown — for the client or the adviser.

  7. 07

My objective is to strengthen the relationship between adviser and client.

An introduction is a reflection on the adviser who made it. My job is to make sure that reflection is a good one, long after the facility has drawn.

How a referral works

Four steps, all documented.

  1. 01

    Introduce the client

A short email or call from the adviser is enough to open the file.

  2. 02

    Funding Strategy Review

I speak with the client, understand the exit, and confirm whether I can add value.

  3. 03

    Packaging & lender selection

The case is packaged and placed with the appropriate specialist UK lender.

  4. 04

    Completion & update

The adviser receives written updates at each stage, through to drawdown and beyond.

Packaging Standards

Cases go to lenders in a form that reflects on the introducing firm.

Every submission is prepared with the same care regardless of loan size. Assumptions are stated openly, the exit is tested honestly, and documentation is complete before an underwriter is approached.

Confidentiality

Client circumstances are held in confidence. Always.

Anything shared by an adviser or their client is used to structure the funding and for nothing else. I never name or discuss a client publicly without written permission — no exceptions, however tempting the story.

Introduce a client

A single point of contact for you, and for your client.

A short email or call is enough to start the conversation. I'll take it from there — quietly, carefully, and with you sighted at every stage.
